WeBeenThere.com is offering travel agents help in retrieving customers who have gone to online travel sites. David Feit, CEO and founder, said the site seeks to help agents use their own specialties to attract and retain clients. The site advises agents to specialize, establish a Web presence and proactively push information out to clients on packages or discount air fares. It also is offering new agents membership for only $50, which is half the usual rate. Agents are provided with a listing on the site by their specialties, and can take part in Web site promotions.
